Kate Berlant is an actor, stand-up comedian and writer who was profiled by The New York Times as a “magnetic improvisational comic” at the forefront of experimental comedy. Kate was named a New Face at the 2014 Montreal Comedy Festival, and TimeOut LA listed her as a Comic to Watch in 2015. She is one of Comedy Central’s Top Ten Comics to Watch and is one of Variety’s “Ten Comics To Watch for 2015.” Kate frequently tours North America, performing at festivals including Sasquatch, Bumbershoot, Festival Supreme, SXSW, Treasure Island Music Festival, the New York Comedy Festival as well as Montreal’s Just for Laughs. She recently wrapped pilots for Comedy Central, TBS and TruTV and can be seen on Comedy Central’s The Meltdown, Viceland's "Flop House," and SeeSo's "UCB Show." She voices several characters on HBO's Animals as well as Netflix's Bojack Horseman. She wrote, executive produced, and starred in her own episode of Netflix’s original series “The Characters.” She also wrote and stars in an upcoming original Vimeo series along with John Early and director Andy DeYoung. Kate has a residency with her show “Communikate” at UCB Franklin in Los Angeles, where you can see her the fourth Wednesday of every month.

Sacha Yanow is a NYC-based performance artist and actor. Her work has been presented by venues including Joe's Pub, Movement Research, New Museum and Dixon Place in NYC; PICA’s TBA Festival/Cooley Gallery in Portland, OR; Pieter in Los Angeles; The Lab in San Francisco; and Festival Theaterformen in Hanover, Germany. She has received residency support from Baryshnikov Arts Center, Denniston Hill, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, SOMA Mexico City, and Yaddo. Yanow has also performed in works by artists including Karen Finley, Laura Parnes, Katy Pyle, and Julie Tolentino, and is a member of the Dyke Division of the Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and the William Esper Studio Actor Training Program. Yanow’s new solo performance Cherie Dre will premiere in NYC in Fall 2018.

Dr. Johnathan Newman
Dr. Jonathan Newman, Pop Psych guru to the stars and lover of life, grew up in New Paltz, NY but now living large in beautiful Mar Vista, California. Newman was raised by a single mom and five sisters, so yes, brother, he is a feminist! Newman began his career as an on-campus therapist at the University of Michigan. Go Wolverines! Later, he moved to Culver City, California and opened his own practice, where he amassed a celeb clientele, becoming a very successful life coach to the stars. Newman volunteers at the local cat rescue and referees Backgammon tournaments in the inner-city public schools, homebrews his own Kombucha, plays the electric flute, has a great passion for magic and martial arts, especially Tai Chi. Newman’s a modern jazz enthusiast, avid collector of Asian pottery, tapestries and swords, and is a competitive aquarium hobbyist. After a long day, Newman enjoys a fine glass of rosé while practicing his favorite instrument, the rainstick.

(pronounced, s uh – l EH – n eh) stars as the voice of tía Rosita in Disney-Pixar’s, COCO (Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Awards’ Winner: Best Animated Feature), the first ever All-Latino cast in major movie studio history. A trail-blazing little person in the entertainment world, Selene Luna, at 3’10″, is a small package with very big presence known for her role in Lionsgate’s feature, MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D, and cult favorites, GINGERDEAD MAN 3: SATURDAY NIGHT CLEAVER and DEMONIC TOYS 2: PERSONAL DEMONS. Luna’s notable TV appearances include CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD and Margaret Cho‘s Vh1′s THE CHO SHOW – a performance that landed Luna a nomination for MTV LOGO’s NewNowNext: Brink of Fame: Comic Award. To date, Luna has written and performed six original one-woman shows, most recently Born to Be Alive, produced by the Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center. Luna’s stand-up comedy has led her to work alongside comedy legends Roseanne Barr and Robin Williams. Luna’s proudest stand-up comedy credit has been opening Margaret Cho’s national tour. Most recently, Luna toured with the UNITED COLORS OF COMEDY standup comedy show.
